Make-up Sweet 16 birthday cake

This cake was a surprise for a sweet and beautiful young lady for her 16th birthday...she loves make-up and fashion so it was the perfect cake for her!  What fun I had making this one!

All the make-up items were made of fondant and the make-up bag was actual cake....

Office Workers Appreciation cake

I was asked to make this cake for the office staff at one of our school departments...I immediately thought it would be cool to make a note pad cake!  I took a detail tool to make the sides look like the pages of a note pad! Cool huh?!  Well, I thought it was. LOL

Peace out birthday cake

This fun and colorful peace sign birthday cake was made for a very sweet young girl....It was fun just making it up as I went along. LOL

Pink camouflage Duck Dynasty cake

I seem to have some experience in the area of Duck Dynasty cakes so I decided for this one I would try to make camo out of buttercream and this is what I came up with...
I drew the logo on fondant with maroon buttercream to make it authentic!

Sports themed birthday cake

I was asked to make this cake for a friend's nephews birthday...She wanted it very colorful...so here it is!  All details are made of fondant.

Colorful cheetah cake

I made this cake for a sweet young lady who requested this very cake...she was afraid I couldn't do it but I had to prove her wrong! LOL
Each cheetah print is hand painted with food coloring...time consuming but not hard at all!

Skate birthday party and cake

My daughter wanted a skating party for her 8th birthday so we went all out at the local skating rink!  This cake was super fun to make and also had to be just perfect for my girl!
I made a little tablescape at the end of the table...I hate having a plain table! LOL
I made a banner with her name on it and stuck in her new skates that her grandparents gave to her!

Cake toppers hand made with fondant and buttercream icing...
The favors served as a centerpiece for the food table! Everyone got their own sunglasses, glow-in-the-dark bracelet and funky knee socks!
The birthday girl wearing an specially made tee by one of my friends just for her birthday party!

First place piggie birthday cake...

This cake was made for a special young lady who is a master at showing pigs in the arena...what better cake than a piggie cake with a first prize blue ribbon!
Complete with "mud" all around it! (it's really chocolate buttercream...yum)

Colorful flower birthday cake

I was asked to make this cake for a sweet little girl turning 3...the mom gave a picture of what she wanted and this is how it turned out!

Golf birthday cake

I made this golf cake for a wonderful young man for his 18th birthday...He loves, loves, loves golf so this was a perfect cake for him!

Texas A&M birthday cake....yes!

I made this Texas A&M birthday cake for a sweet guy who loves the Aggies!  He deserved it!

John Deere baby shower cake

I was asked to make a cake with a John Deere theme and this is what I narrowed it down to...lol!

Hand piped John Deere emblem on fondant to make it extra special...
Aren't the little farm animals the cutest???!!!

Baby birds first birthday cake

This was the second first birthday cake I had the same weekend...Sweet Emma's first birthday had a precious little bird theme.

The little birds on the top were made from fondant..aren't they just cute?!
Miss Emma's smash cake below matched the theme...just precious!
