A fabulous 40th birthday cake

 My friend asked me to make a 40th birthday cake for her sister-in-law.  She wanted the cake to match the balloon that she had for her party so this is what I came up with...

 I did the polka dot part of the balloon opposite because I didn't think black icing would taste very good...lol

 I added a few girly details with the fondant roses for the birthday girl!

Mini tiramisu desserts

 I made these mini tiramisu desserts for a band fundraiser for our high school band...I had 84 of them to make for their italian dinner and dancing event...I must say they were super yummy!

Heart shaped Valentine cake

 I made this cake for a church Valentine banquet...they wanted the marble cake to look like it had a box of chocolates on top but instead of chocolates..Chocolate covered strawberries!!

A football baby shower

 I styled this baby shower for a sweet friend who was about to deliver their first baby boy...they already have two precious girls so we had to go all out boy!  Her husband is a coach and the baby's room is a football theme so why not go with that!

 Instead of guest book sign in...we all "autographed" the football with advice or nice sentiments for mom and baby. 

 It was a morning shower so we went with muffins...

 added a little bit of chocolate covered popcorn (was a hit by the way...so addictive!)

 Yummy punch and fresh fruit were also a hit!

And...to finish off the theme, chocolate covered football strawberries!

Sour Patch Kids cake

 My friend that I made this cake for sent me an email almost a year ago with this inspiration...Her husband called me to order her a cake and I told him I knew exactly the cake for her!  She loved it!

I thought it turned out pretty cute...one of my favorites!

It's all gone to the dogs...cake

 I made this cake for a sweet lady who was retiring from her office job to begin a new chapter in her life...dog grooming!  So what better than a dog grooming cake for her retirement party!

Transformers Bumblebee cake

 

This is the Transformers Bumblebee cake I made for a sweet little boy, Case!  He decided he wanted the car for his cake so this is what I did! 

 

 Here are some close ups of details on the cake...the spoiler, gas cap, transformers symbol, tires, even the license plate says "BUMBL"  LOL!

The car was topped off with the recognizable Transformers symbol!

Ruffles and roses first birthday cake

 This is a cake I made for a sweet family and a very sweet one year old girl.  She  is very girly and ruffles were just the thing for her first birthday!  Her parents also chose a winter "one"derland theme since her birthday is in the winter...
